Selected adipose tissue hormones in the blood of patients with ischemic cerebral stroke.

CONCLUSIONS: Higher resistin and chemerin blood concentrations significantly increase the risk of ischemic stroke. The level of stroke severity in the moment of its occurrence and its course do not depend on the concentrations of adipocytokines under analysis.
