This Walnut Creek health startup just raised $12M. It has a new name and business model.
Trainer RX, a digital health startup focused on musculoskeletal injuries, is now known as RecoveryOne after pivoting to a new business model and rebranding.
The Walnut Creek company raised $12 million led by Cigna Ventures, with participation from existing investor 7wire Ventures and the management team. To date, it has raised nearly $16 million. The new funding allowed RecoveryOne to add five executives, giving it 20 employees.
