Inhibition of G Protein-Coupled Receptor 81 (GPR81) Protects Against Ischemic Brain Injury.

CONCLUSIONS: G protein-coupled receptor 81 (GPR81) inhibition attenuated ischemic neuronal death. Lactate may aggravate ischemic brain injury by activating GPR81.
