Conclusions: Although 3D printed PSTs help to avoid the misplacement of PAs in revision deformity correction surgeries with sublaminar wires in situ, the mean number of misplaced screws per patient using this technique was found to be statistically insignificant when compared with the freehand technique in this study. Conclusions: In this study, the SUV of 99mTc-MDP was successfully determined using SPECT/CT. This research provides an approach that could potentially aid in the clinical quantification of radionuclide uptake in normal vertebrae for the management of breast cancer patients. CONCLUSION: PET/CT is a useful tool in the evaluation of colorectal cancer, and it allows to metabolically characterize undetermined lesions suspected for recurrence of disease, to perform a complete pre-surgical staging and to identify occult metastatic disease. PET/CT should be considered an essential diagnostic tool in the management of patients with colorectal cancer, especially in the preoperative staging. CONCLUSIONS: There is no single absolute modality for de tecting ALNMs in breast cancers to replace sentinel lymph node biopsy or axillary lymph node dissection. If ALNM is suspected based on PET/CT, axillary lymph node dissection without sentinel lymph node biopsy might be a better option because it is related to high possibilities of ALNM. Purpose of review Giant cell arteritis (GCA) has classically been diagnosed by temporal artery biopsy and treated with high-dose, long-term glucocorticoid therapy. Noninvasive imaging increasingly is employed for diagnostic purposes, but further studies are needed to determine the role of imaging in monitoring longitudinal disease activity. Glucocorticoid-sparing therapy mitigates the numerous adverse effects of glucocorticoids. This review addresses new developments in these areas. Recent findings For diagnosis, when performed at a center with expertise in its use, temporal artery ultrasound has an estimated sensitiv...

Conclusions: Lumbar fusion through CBT instrumentation would reduce FJV. Computer-assisted navigation resulted in a lower incidence of FJV. Percutaneous instrumentation with navigation assistance is not a risk factor for FJV. Special care should be taken in patients with body mass index ≥30 kg/m2, left-side screw, facet angle ≥45 degrees, and scoliosis. Level of Evidence: Level III.

CONCLUSION This meta-analysis compared SCE with CT scan in patients presenting with stab wounds of the anterior abdominal wall and provided level II evidence showing no additional benefit in CT scan. Further observational and experimental clinical studies are needed to confirm the findings of this meta-analysis. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE Systematic review and meta-analysis, level II.

Abstract Isthmuses are reported as common anatomic complexities in teeth often associated with failures in endodontic treatment. They should be considered before starting treatment and a preoperative computed tomography scan (CT) may demonstrate these complexities. Objective To assess the diagnostic value of the highest resolution settings of a cone-beam CT (CBCT) system in identifying and measuring apical isthmuses, using micro-CT as reference. Methodology After micro-CT scanning, 40 humans ’ lower first molars with isthmuses in the apical-3 mm of mesial roots were scanned by the highest resolution settings of the N...
