Beshear rescinds Bevin Medicaid reforms — leaves major question unanswered

Gov. Andy Beshear announced Monday that he has ended the controversial Medicaid reforms enacted by his predecessor, Matt Bevin. The newly elected Democrat is doing away with the 1115 waiver, a program developed by the Bevin administration that proposed alterations to the state's Medicaid program that were not allowed under the federal laws and rules that control the taxpayer-backed health plan for vulnerable populations.
