Giant cell tumor in sinus maxillary and nasal cavity: a rare case report
A 33-year-old male patient attended a surgical service reporting a swelling in the right nasal cavity for around 6 months. Magnetic resonance imaging showed a hypointense image on the upper wall of the right maxillary sinus invading the nasal cavity of the same side. There was a previous biopsy in the same region with an inconclusive diagnosis. The patient was submitted to excisional biopsy, and the surgical specimen was referred for a pathologic service with clinical suspicion of paraganglioma.
