We report a very rare case of LAM with malignant lymphoma. A 51-year-old female had medical history of recurrent pneumothorax and nephrectomy for a left renal angiomyolipoma and was diagnosed with LAM by video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery at the age of 30. She presented with left neck mass. Computed tomography and magnetic response imaging showed multiple enlarged cervical lymph nodes. 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) showed abnormal uptake in the mass. ConclusionMalignant EAML, although rare, does exist. Thus, besides evaluations required for ruling out the diagnosis of renal sarcomas, surgeons must follow patients after total nephrectomy for possible recurrence. Benign cases can be completely cured by surgery and do not show recurrence at the end of the follow-up period.
CONCLUSIONS: The single-port approach has advantages as easier surgical planning and transition for combined and multi-quadrants surgeries: faster recovery, minimal postoperative pain and need for opioids, and excellent cosmetic outcome. We suggest that combined procedures should be performed only in high volume institutions by surgeons with vast experience in robotic surgery in selected patients. ConclusionGiant hydronephrosis can present rare symptoms as “intractable hiccups”. The selection of treatment should be made depending on the cause.

We report a 3 day old female who was referred with a congenital abdominal mass with a background history of polyhydramnios antenatally and preterm delivery at 35 weeks. Imaging studies showed a right renal mass involving the mid and lower pole of the kidney. The neonate underwent a right radical nephrectomy and histopathology confirmed the mass as a classic sub-type of CMN.
CONCLUSIONWe described the first case of renal pericytic tumor, addressing uncertain malignant potential, in a Korean male, which would be a distinct mesenchymal neoplasm differentiating from other groups of perivascular tumor families based on histological and immunohistochemical features.
