Differences in Fecal Microbiomes and Metabolomes of People With vs Without Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Bile Acid Malabsorption

Populations of microbes and their metabolites differ between patients with irritable bowel syndrome and controls, and patients with vs without bile acid malabsorption. It is not clear whether these differences contribute to development or are a product of irritable bowel syndrome.
