Ovarian cortex transplantation

ConclusionFor patients who have suffered from premature ovarian failure due to chemotherapy, ovarian cortex transplantation can restore the ovulatory function, allows IVF, and permit, as in our case, a spontaneous pregnancy.

CONCLUSION: Management of lymphoma during pregnancy highlights the need to consider all aspects of proposed oncologic and obstetric care as well as neonatal risks. Considerations highlighted in this case include staging methods, administration of antenatal steroids, timing of delivery, and lactation during chemotherapy. Placental development is influenced by apoptosis during trophoblast differentiation and proliferation. Increased oxidative stress upregulates placental apoptosis. We have earlier reported increased oxidative stress, lower omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E levels in women with preeclampsia. Current study examines effect of maternal omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin E supplementatio...

ConclusionsAlthough further prospective research on the efficacy of chemotherapy during pregnancy is necessary, survival of patients diagnosed with early stage HL during pregnancy appears not to be statistically different from matched non-pregnant controls, Awareness of complications as preterm delivery and low birth weight is important in this population.Clinical trial identificationNTC00330447.Legal entity responsible for the studyThe authors.FundingEuropean Union ’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Program under grant agreement No 647047 Research Foundation-Flanders (FWO., grant no G070514N) and ESGO (European...

Conclusions: A close collaboration between Cancer and Fertility Center in a tertiary care hospital is essential to provide a good health service in oncological patients. Offering fertility preservation is no longer considered optional and must be included in every therapeutic program for women who receive an oncological diagnosis in their reproductive age. Oocyte cryopreservation is a good option for fertility preservation for women facing cancer treatment and our results, despite on a small sample, are encouraging. We also confirm a low utilization rate as only 4.5% of patients returned to use their gametes.
