Renal BOLD MRI in patients with chronic kidney disease: comparison of the semi-automated twelve layer concentric objects (TLCO) and manual ROI methods.
DISCUSSION: There was a high degree of agreement between the two methods in terms of regional R2* measurements and both methods did not show differences between moderate CKD patients and controls. However, R2*_Slope and Δ(R2*_Slope) showed the largest sensitivity in distinguishing CKD from controls.
