Dynamic thiol/disulphide homeostasis in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

CONCLUSIONS: Despite the fact that antioxidant capacity was impaired, the extracellular environment remained in a reducing state by keeping serum disulphide/native thiol ratios low.
