ConclusionsSchizophrenia is featured by disrupted ‘limbic areas-to-thalamus’ rsEC, in contrast with diffusively altered rsFC. Moreover, both rsEC and rsFC contain valuable and complementary information which may be used as diagnostic markers for schizophrenia.
