Endovenous Laser Ablation of Great and Small Saphenous Veins with 1470 Nm Diode Laser and Radial Slim Fibres
Introduction: endovenous laser ablation (EVLA) is efficacy and safe for varicose veins treatment. Despite the absence of strict technical regulations and recommendations for the use of various laser devices, the use of diode lasers with a wavelength of 1470-1560 nm and optical fibres with radial emission is today considered the most optimal, effective, and safe. The possibility of usage of Slim radial fibre with a diameter of 400 microns for EVLA of the saphenous veins is currently not known.
