Real-world comparison of hospitalization costs for heart failure in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with established cardiovascular disease treated with canagliflozin versus other antihyperglycemic agents.
Conclusions: For patients with T2DM and established cardiovascular disease in this real-world study, treatment with canagliflozin was associated with lower HHF costs and all-cause healthcare costs compared with treatment with non-SGLT2i AHAs.
