CONCLUSION: The proposed standardisation of laparoscopic right hemicolectomy with complete mesocolic excision accommodates the increased complexity of the right colon and structures it into well-defined steps with critical safety assessments, which may result in minimised intraoperative complications and increased patient safety and should improve training.
