The additive prognostic value of coronary calcium score (CCS) to single photon emission computed tomography myocardial perfusion imaging (SPECT-MPI)-real world data from a single center

This study is a retrospective analysis of 655 patients who underwent SPECT-MPI with CCS (2012 to 2017). Receiver operator characteristic (ROC) identified CCS cutoff value for all-cause mortality: CCS+ if> cutoff value and MPI+ if ≥ 5% total perfusion defect (TPD). Patients were divided into 1 MPI−/CCS−; 2 MPI+/CCS−; 3 MPI−/CCS+; 4 MPI+/CCS+ and compared. ConclusionsSPECT/CT imaging provides regional quantification of skeletal muscle perfusion reserve which is significantly associated with exercise tolerance and cardiovascular fitness. Future application of SPECT/CT may elucidate the underlying skeletal muscle adapations to exercise therapy in patients with cardiovascular diseases.

ConclusionsWe investigated the current status of MPS imaging technology in Japan, and found that although the use of various technical developments has been reported, some of these technologies have not been utilized effectively. ConclusionWe developed a deep learning model to support the interpretation of brain perfusion SPECT by converting unstructured text reports into structured labels. This model can be used as a support system not only to identify perfusion abnormalities but also to provide quantitative scores of abnormalities, particularly for patients who require revascularization.

CONCLUSION: The low agreement between amyloid PET/CT and previous clinical and instrumental assessments that we found in our study suggests that the amyloid PET/CT provides additional and early information.
