Sexually transmissible infection testing among pregnant women in the US, 2011 & #x2013;15

Dittus Screening for sexually transmissible infections (STIs) during pregnancy is important to prevent adverse pregnancy outcomes. Using national survey data from the US, we found that many women are not receiving recommended STI screenings during pregnancy. Interventions may be needed to increase awareness of national STI testing recommendations among pregnant women and healthcare providers.
