Additional Questions Regarding Wide QRS Tachycardia and Atrial Fibrillation

To the Editor We read with great interest the article by Bucklew and colleagues that was published in a recent issue of JAMA Internal Medicine. The article is very valuable, and we organized postgraduates to study it carefully. They have proposed 3 interesting questions regarding the article: (1) In patients with atrial fibrillation (Figure 2, baseline electrocardiogram [ECG]), why is the RR interval almost equal? (2) In Figure 3, why are there 2 different morphologies of wide-QRS complex caused by flecainide-associated toxic effects? (3) Combined with Figure 3, is the ECG in Figure 1 considered to be consistent with a diagnosis of ventricular tachycardia (VT)?
