A case of ureterocutaneous fistula after nephrectomy

A 79-year-old female presented to our urologic outpatient clinic with a chief complaint of intermittent discharge over her left flank operation scar for several years. The patient's medical history is significant for hypertension, lumbar spondylolisthesis status post posterior lumbar inter body fusion, and left nephrectomy due to infected stone disease 40 years ago. She described the discharge as coming directly out of the nephrectomy scar, watery and semi-transparent in nature, and without odor.
