The ICD-11 and opportunities for the osteopathy profession

As the global osteopathic profession continues to evolve, so does our understanding of the clinical presentations managed in osteopathic practice. Spinal pain is the most common presenting complaint in osteopathic practice in Australia [5], consistent with practice profiles in other regions [1,2,4]. There is also an emerging picture of the prevalence of chronic pain presentations in osteopathy practice [1,2,6].
