ConclusionsSiLaC is an effective, easy to perform, reproducible, and almost painless procedure. Factors influencing healing seem to be the presence of secondary openings, postoperative complications, and, especially, infection. The SiLaC procedure could become one of the treatments of choice for pilonidal sinus disease.
