Atherectomy Treatment Strategies of Above Knee-Only or Combined Above Knee and Below Knee Both Result in Successful Reduction of Stenosis as Measured by DUS PSVR

Advanced multilevel peripheral artery disease (PAD) often requires atherectomy. Treatment strategies are controversial in both Above-the-Knee (ATK) atherectomy treatment (AT) and the combined ATK-and-Below-the-Knee (ATK-BTK) approach. We hypothesized both ATK or ATK-BTK treatment strategies would be successful in reducing stenosis measured via peak systolic velocity ratio (PSVR) obtained by duplex ultrasound (DUS).
