Cardiometabolic impact and symptom profile of obstructivesleep apnea: does gender matter?
Conclusion: In this large clinical patient cohort, cardio-metabolic comorbidities were more prevalent in female compared to male OSA patients. Furthermore, women with OSA are more likely to complain about EDS and report symptoms suggestive for insomnia.
