Early pleural fluid control is warranted to prevent reaccumulation of malignant pleural effusion in oncogene-driven lung cancer
Conclusion: Anti-cancer treatment prolongs survival and time to MPE re-intervention in patients with lung cancer, though the lifetime burden of pleural re-intervention was not significantly reduced. Early MPE control measures were required to reduce the need of pleural re-intervention.
