Flexible bronchoscopy for lung cancer diagnosis in patients 85 years and older
Conclusion: FB for lung cancer diagnosis in patients 85 years and older were performed with acceptable safety and diagnostic yield, and more than half of these cases were included in active treatment for lung cancer. FB is thought to be safe and useful in cases 85 years and older suspected of lung cancer, although considerations for indication is required.
