PERC (Pulmonary Embolism Rule-Out Criteria) puzzle in lung cancer (LC) patients and general population
Conclusions: PERC criteria application in this tertiary respiratory ED setting would have successfully identified patients from the general population that did not require CTPAs to exclude a PE and would reduce the costs but would have failed to be clinically useful in LC patients which seems to be an important limitation
