Prevalence and demographics of asthma - COPD overlap (ACO) among asthma and COPD patients in the pulmonary clinic of the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital
Conclusion: The hospital has a statistically higher prevalence rate of ACO compared to worldwide data. COPD patients are more likely to have ACO than asthmatic patients. The ACO group has a median of 23 pack-years while the COPD group has a higher median of 46 pack-years. TB is more common in COPD.
