High prevalence of COPD among adults with heart disease
Conclusion: The prevalence of COPD was higher among subjects with heart disease than among those without such diseases, but only the association with heart failure remained in adjusted analyses. Identifying and treating patients with concomitant COPD can be important for improving the outcome for patients with heart disease.
