Preface

This issue of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinics of North America on cerebral palsy incorporates what for many of us is an example of what medicine at its finest can do in making a difference for a child with a lifelong condition. Individuals with different backgrounds and expertise work together to advance a child and their family along a continuum that includes anticipatory guidance, partnering to identify goals, and support to the patient and family through the ups and downs of diagnosis, treatment, and aging.
