This infant was born at 34 weeks 5 days estimated gestational age secondary to premature rupture of membranes. Prenatal history was unremarkable with negative infectious serologies, including herpes simplex virus (HSV), and normal anatomy scan at 20 weeks ’ gestation. In the delivery room, vesicular lesions were noted that quickly denuded leaving behind erythematous plaques (Figure 1A). In the delivery room, the infant displayed myoclonic movements. When an EEG was recorded, the aforementioned movements had no electrographic correlate.

ConclusionThe results of this large, nationally representative longitudinal study suggest that common viral infections are not significant risk factors for common mental disorders. The association of CMV with a lower risk of generalized anxiety disorder warrants further investigation.

We report the PRO-seq data generated from our analysis of RNA Polymerase II location along the HSV-1 genome at 3 and 6 hpi.
