They enable independent control over the amount of radioisotope loading and antibody attachment, which is pivotal in developing tailorable... Conclusion: Response rates and OS in this analysis of BV in real-world settings in the Czech Republic and Slovakia were consistent with those reported for pivotal clinical trials and from previous studies outside the clinical trial setting. The results support the efficacy of BV for treatment of R/R HL in real-life clinical practice.

Conclusions: Our study shows that high WBTLG, WBMTV and WBSUVmax could predict a relatively poor prognosis, and has a highly significant association with PIT and IPI.WBTLG could be an independent predictive factor for survival outcomes in patients with PTCL.

Conclusion: miR-4433 was identified as a microRNA targeting Bcr-Abl, which may be subject to epigenetic regulation of SAHA, a histone deacetylase inhibitor that has been approved by the US FDA for the treatment of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. The findings of this study provide a molecular basis from another angle for the use of SAHA in the treatment of CML.

This study examined whether saikosaponin-d (SSD) enhances the anti-tumor effect of gefitinib in NSCLC cells. Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) was used to determine cell viability. Cell apoptosis was examined by flow cytometry. Signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT3), phosphor-STAT3 (P-STAT3), and B-cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl-2) were detected by Western blot. An HCC827/GR tumor model was established to observe the effect of combination therapy in vivo. The combination of SSD with gefitinib had an enhanced inhibitory effect by reducing cell viability and inducing cells apoptosis in NSCLC cells. Furthermore, SSD decreas...

ConclusionFor patients who have suffered from premature ovarian failure due to chemotherapy, ovarian cortex transplantation can restore the ovulatory function, allows IVF, and permit, as in our case, a spontaneous pregnancy.

Publication date: Available online 13 December 2019Source: Urology Case ReportsAuthor(s): Caesar Khairul Wallad, Syamsu Hudaya, Mursyid Fadli, Bonita Prawirodihardjo, Randy Januar, Akhmad MustafaAbstractPrimary renal lymphoma (PRL) is a rare event, while ureteric involvement by the lymphoma mimicking an UTUC is even rarer. A 30-year-old woman diagnosed for a 6-month history of right flank pain with presumed the UTUC of the right kidney. She underwent radical nephroureterectomy with bladder cuff excision, which reveals the infiltrating papillary mass of the ureter from the proximal region towards the ureterovesical junction...

We present a case of ovarian lymphoma, in which an ambiguous intraoperative pathologic report led to overtreatment (unnecessary surgery). A 73-yr-old woman with fatigue and low-grade fever was diagnosed as having a left ovarian tumor by imaging modalities. Exploratory laparotomy was carried out to confirm the diagnosis. The frozen tissue sections of the ovarian tumor showed condensed proliferation of atypical round cells accompanied with a few small lymphocytes. The pathologists could not determine whether this tumor was a lymphoma or another malignancy (eg, dysgerminoma). Hence, they reported it to gynecologists who opera...

ConclusionWe showed that BM FDG-positive predicted a poorer survival in patients with advanced stage DBLCL. We also found that BMB-negative and BM FDG-positive patients had similar PFS or OS to BMB-positive and BM FDG-negative patients. Further study in a larger population is needed to clarify clinical significance of BM FDG in these patients.
