Pain and Dysfunction with Sexual Activity after Inguinal Hernia Repair: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Sexual dysfunction (SD) and pain with sexual activity (PSA) are common after inguinal hernia repair, but reported rates vary. Sources of variation are explored in this meta-analysis, but influence of procedure type remains unresolved. Preoperative discussion and prospective study designs should consider outcomes of SD and PSA.
