Abbott Labs CEO White to step down after 21 years

After leading the company for 21 years, Abbott Laboratories CEO Miles White will step down next year. White, 64, will leave the Abbott Park healthcare giant (NYSE: ABT) on March 31, and will be replaced by Robert Ford, 46, the company's current chief operating officer and president.
