Abstract
Systemic therapies currently approved for psoriasis lead to significant improvement and even complete clearance of skin disease. Although treatment discontuniuation is often associated with disease relapse, a proportion of patients may maintain a durable and lengthy response after treatment withdrawal.1-4 While these observations suggest the possibility of long-term remission, the definition of 'remission' of skin disease in psoriasis is not standard, and building consensus would facilitate clinical and scientific inquiry into this important concept.
