This article reviews the potential role of exosomes in OA regenerative medicine. Special attention is given to mesenchymal stem cells-derived exosomes due to the extensive research on their cartilage repair property and their function as miRNA cargo. More investigations are needed for the effects of exosomes from synovial fluid and chondrocytes in joints. A better understanding of the mechanisms will contribute to a novel and promising therapy for OA patients.

Conclusions: Tear lipids are more ordered than meibum lipids, which could have functional consequences. The human meibum peak height ratio of the CH3/CH2 bands is not a factor related to tear film stability with age or sex. The amount of CH3 moieties relative to CH2 moieties and saturation could contribute to a higher meibum lipid order associated with a younger age, meibomian gland dysfunction, and dry eye from hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Therefore, the hydrocarbon order may be a marker of or contribute to an unstable tear film layer.

ConclusionPlerixafor proved effective to mobilize adequate numbers of PBSCs in individual patients with relapsed malignancies after prior single or tandem HDC+PBSCT. These PBSCs could establish sustained multi-lineage hematopoietic engraftment without any sequelae.

We describe a simple, robust method for differentiation of hPSCs into mesendoderm in defined conditions utilizing single-cell seeding (SCS) and BMP4 and Activin A (BA) treatment. BA treatment was readily incorporated into existing protocols for chondrogenic and endothelial progenitor cell differentiation, while fine-tuning of BA conditions facilitated definitive endoderm commitment.
