Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD) is a primary phagocytic disease that results in reduced or absent superoxide production resulting in impaired intracellular killing. Common manifests include recurrent bacterial and fungal infections, granuloma formation, and poor wound healing. The majority of patients present in early childhood; rarely patients present into adulthood.
