Galera Therapeutics goes public with $60 million IPO
Galera Therapeutics on Thursday became the second Philadelphia-area life sciences company to go public in the last two weeks.
The Malvern company, developing treatments to reduce the harmful effect of radiation therapy, raised $60 million by selling 5 million shares of its common stock at $12 per share per share. In documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission last week, Galera said it expected to sell its shares at between $14 and $16 per share.
