Companies: Motion To Dismiss Chemical Case Wrongly Denied; Jurisdiction Lacking

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Two companies on Oct. 28 moved in Ohio federal court for reconsideration of that court's denial of their motion to dismiss a complaint alleging injuries from exposure to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), contending that the district court "misapplied" Sixth Circuit law governing such procedures (Kevin Hardwick v. 3M Company, et al., No. 18-1185, S.D. Ohio).
