In this study, we performed an extensive assessment of the value of CMA for the diagnosis of children with ID/DD in China. Methods: A total of 633 patients diagnosed with DD/ID in West China Second University Hospital, Sichuan University, were recruited from January 2014 to March 2019. The patients were classified into 4 subgroups: isolated DD/ID, DD/ID with multiple congenital anomalies (MCA), isolated autism spectrum disorders (ASDs), and DD/ID with epilepsy. We report here the derivation of familial iPSC lines from two controls and three ASD patients carrying NRXN1α+/−, using a non-integrating Sendai viral kit. The genotype and karyotype of the resulting iPSCs were validated by whole genome SNP array. All iPSC lines expressed comparable levels of pluripotency markers and could be differentiated into three germ layers.
ConclusionsThese data contribute to identifying an early trend of autism spectrum disorder, useful also for pediatricians.

We present a patient with 17q12 deletion syndrome with significant atopy.
We present two additional patients with a novel de novo SCN3A pathogenic variant, and a review of all published cases of de novo variants. In one of our patients brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) disclosed a severe polymicrogyria and in the other it was normal. The clinical phenotype was characterized by a severe developmental delay and refractory epilepsy in the patient with polymicrogyria and intellectual disability with autistic features and pharmacoresponsive epilepsy in the subject with normal MRI.
ConclusionsIn summary, our method identifies modules enriched with de novo non-synonymous mutations and can capture specific networks that underlie the epilepsy phenotype and display distinct enrichment in relevant biological processes. MAGI-S is available athttps://github.com/jchow32/magi-s.
ConclusionWe reported the genetic and clinical information of 18 RSTS patients from Chinese population with novelCREBBP variants. This study provides a new insight into RSTS and illustrates the value of applying CES which increases the diagnostic yields and enhances the clinical care of RSTS patients.
