Sarcoidosis is a clinicopathologic entity consisting of the accumulation of granulomas composed of macrophages and epithelioid cells.1 An association between lymphoma and sarcoidosis or a sarcoid-like reaction has been described, manifesting as 3 scenarios. The first is the development of lymphoma after the development of sarcoidosis, in which a causal relationship between the 2 has been postulated.2 The second is the opposite —the development of sarcoidosis or a sarcoid-like reaction after the diagnosis and treatment of lymphoma.
