Interdisciplinary Management of Dentofacial Deformity in Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis

This article reviews the unique properties of TMJ and dentofacial growth and development in the setting of juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Specific orthopedic/orthodontic and surgical management of children with JIA and TMJ arthritis is discussed. The importance of interdisciplinary collaboration is highlighted.
