Sleeve Gastrectomy is currently the most commonly performed bariatric surgical procedure in the US. Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) Pathways have been successfully used in colorectal surgery with improved overall outcomes. ASMBS released a sleeve specific enhanced recovery pathway (ENERGY) for limited participation.
