A485 Factors Contributing to Successful Endoscopic Management of Staple Line Leaks Following Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy

Staple line leaks following laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) occur in approximately 3% of patients and is associated with high morbidity and mortality. Endoluminal techniques, including stent placement and endoluminal vacuum therapy (EVAC), have become viable options to treat these patients; thus, decreasing the need for additional surgery. The purpose of this study is to determine which patient factors contribute to successful endoscopic therapy in managing leaks following LSG.
