Extraocular muscle biopsy during surgery for strabismus of unknown etiology

We present 2 cases, one with euthyroid Graves ’ orbitopathy and the other with amyloid light-chain amyloidosis, in which extraocular muscle biopsy performed intraoperatively allowed histopathologic confirmation of a clinical diagnosis.
