Maggie: I Want to Play! Me: But It is 3am Darling!

Maggie just woke me up a moment ago all frisky and wanting to play. I looked at my alarm clock and muttered “well crap!” under my breath. I knew I would never get back to sleep. Maggie would quickly run around the bedroom furiously feeling her oats and then she would jump on the bed and playfully and loudly bark at me. Then she would repeat the whole routine. She did this about five times. I really couldn’t help but smile even though I felt delirious and grumpy from a lack of sleep. The princess of Mauritania and Maratouse was going strong this morning indeed. Once In a Blue Moon Something extremely and exceedingly rare happened to me yesterday. It was the first time in years that I was able to sit peacefully and watch a whole movie without becoming agitated and restless.  I actually ended up watching several movies in my all or nothing fashion so characteristic of me. My favorite movie was The Hobbit. I have read the book three times over the years. It was neat getting to see Peter Jackson’s interpretation of Tolkien’s middle earth and its inhabitants. I can’t wait until installment number two – The Desolation of Smaug. Smaug being the red dragon and the main antagonist of the trilogy. My Main Man Charlie arrived last night bearing gifts from Captain D’s. It was a chicken and fish combo dinner.
