Outcome of portosystemic shunt surgery on pre ‐existing cholangiopathy in children with extrahepatic portal venous obstruction

ConclusionNon ‐selective PSS decompresses esophago‐gastro‐splenic venous circuit effectively but fails to ameliorate cholangiopathy and peribiliary collaterals. Peristence of cholangiopathy is attributable to SMV block.
