Effect of Long ‐Term Intrathecal Bupivacaine Infusion on Blood Pressure
ConclusionsLong ‐term thoracic intrathecal infusion of bupivacaine likely exerts a lowering effect on BP, primarily because of a significant decrease in SBP. This effect is likely due to efferent sympathetic blockade by bupivacaine.
