LEA 29. Initial Experience With Cre8 Stent for Below-Knee Disease in Patients With Critical Limb Ischemia

Critical limb ischemia is associated with a high risk of major amputation and death if revascularization is not performed promptly. Endovascular procedures in below-knee (BTK) arteries have shown good results in limb salvage. Plain balloon angioplasty is associated with recoil and restenosis. Drug-eluting stents in BTK arteries, such as Cre8 stent (Alvimedica, Istanbul, Turkey), have shown promising results. The purpose of this study was to analyze our initial experience with the Cre8 stent in the BTK arteries in terms of safety and efficacy.
