Angular Pregnancy

A 38-year-old woman, gravida 3, para 1, presented to the emergency room with severe lower abdominal pain at 8 weeks of pregnancy. Transvaginal ultrasonography showed a gestational sac located at the right angle of the uterus (Fig 1A), with surrounding myometrium 4.6 mm in thickness. Laparoscopy revealed a 6-cm bulge rising from the right angle of the uterus (Fig 1B) and medial to the uterotubal junction (Fig 1C). Hysteroscopic evaluation showed that the gestational tissue was accessible through the uterine cavity.
