Time trend of prevalence and susceptibility to nitrofurantoin of urinary MDR Escherichia coli from outpatients
ConclusionsDespite a high prevalence of MDRE. coli in urinary samples from Belgian outpatients, nitrofurantoin could still be recommended as first-line empirical treatment in uncomplicated UTIs.
